Declaration of Agricultural Disaster

Council of the Municipal District of Fairview No. 136 has has declared an agricultural disaster due to ongoing and severe drought conditions and low soil moisture levels.
The Declaration of Agricultural Disaster signals an intent to raise awareness of persistent dry conditions posing significant challenges for livestock and crop producers in the Municipality.
Reduced crop quality and yields are anticipated for 2025, as well as decreased livestock feed and water resources.
