Dust Control

Once per year, the Municipal District of Fairview No. 136 offers property owners within the Municipality the opportunity to apply for dust control on rural roads in front of residences. Dust control involves the application of a dust suppressant agent, Calcium Chloride, to gravel roads to minimize dust. 

The fee for dust control is determined yearly, on a cost-recovery basis.

To request the application of dust control agent to a gravel roadway, complete the Dust Control Application (when available) and submit to the Municipality using any of the following methods:

Only applications submitted with the requisite fee by the deadline will be accepted.
