Employment Opportunity - Agricultural Fieldman (Temporary, 12 Month)

The M.D. of Fairview No. 136 is recruiting an Agricultural Fieldman (12 month, Temporary).

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Agricultural Fieldman is the designated officer of the Municipality in carrying out the functions, duties, and powers under any legislation relating to agriculture, including municipal bylaws.

The entire position description, including required skills and preferred qualifications can be viewed online. This position is temporary, full-time with flexible work arrangements. The Municipality will also consider part-time work arrangements or contracted service provision.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture or other related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Industrial/Agriculture/Landscape Pesticide Applicator’s Certificate .

Alternative combinations of education and/or experience may be considered.

The Municipal District of Fairview No. 136 offers a comprehensive compensation, pension and benefits package and flexible work arrangements. Salary range for this position is $76,803.79 to $106,973.36 (commensurate with qualifications and experience).
