DECLARATION OF A STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY

Please be advised that the Municipal District of Fairview No. 136 has declared a State of Local Emergency 

Council has taken this action to facilitate the construction of precautionary fire breaks. 

At this time the wildfire in the Municipal District of Fairview No. 136 between Range Road 25 and Range Road 32 north of Township Road 824 is being held. 

Residents in the area are asked to be prepared for possible evacuation as conditions may change rapidly. This includes, but is not limited to: 

• Medicine, 
• Pet food, 
• Identification and other important documents, 
• Water,
• Fuel.
