 Hamlets 
BLUESKY
 
Located 9 km east of the Town of Fairview on Highway 2 North, it has the "acreage" living lifestyle, but with the services of a town. There are approximately 85 families in the hamlet, with plenty of room for more. The Bluesky Mennonite Church and hall is one of the gathering places for residents as is the local outdoor rink. The Bluesky Community club is very active and has organized the "Bluefest" music festival for the past 5 years. This family event, which takes place the third Sunday in August, attracts over 400 people from across the region evey year. WHITELAW 
                                               
 Our second hamlet is located 22 km east of the Town of Fairview on Highway 2. There are approximately 55 families in this quaint, quiet, friendly community.Whitelaw School is a part of the Peace River School Division #10 (www.prsd.ab.ca) and teaches grades K-6. Students are then transported to Fairview to complete grades 7-12. The very active Whitelaw Agricultural Society operates the Community Hall, (that is attached to the school) and the Whitelaw Curling Rink. There is also a newly built outdoor rink for the kids, Seniors Drop In Centre and lots and lots of community pride.
